President Maduro congratulates the FANB for shooting down eight drug trafficking aircraft in Amazonas

President Nicolás Maduro The meeting, held with the Communes of the Macarao parish, in Caracas, congratulated the achievement of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), for shooting down 8 drug trafficking planes during December 29.
“Our glorious FANB is always vigilant and clothed, with its well-worn campaign boots, I want to congratulate our FANB, our entire territorial defensive system and especially our anti-aircraft defense and our Bolivarian Military Aviation, because yesterday they arrived at the 31st drug trafficking plane shot down by our military aircraft in the state of Apure, but today while we were all having breakfast, our military aircraft that does not rest in the state of Amazonas, in a place close to the border with Brazil, our beloved Military Aviation and our courageous pilots, eliminated, in accordance with the law, 8 drug trafficking aircraft to reach 39 aircraft this year and 430 since we began with this law, the fight against drug trafficking in the sovereign and sacred territory of Venezuela, applause from the people of Venezuela to our aviation, to our FANB that walks 24 hours a day, vigilant and girdled, always wearing their campaign boots and doing it for love, Venezuela,” said the Head of State.
In this regard, he highlighted the exemplary model in South America of combating crime against criminal drug trafficking gangs, by land, by air, and by sea.
“Because of our model, that is why we are victorious in this act, on this hill in Chuquisaca I give them my recognition, my decoration to the military, true glories of the FANB,” he said.
