President Maduro honored the memory of Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda (+Siembra)

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, paid tribute to Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda, on the occasion of the 209th anniversary of his planting.

Through his Telegram channel, the head of state wrote “We honor the memory of our most universal of Venezuelans: the AJ “Generalissimo” Francisco de Miranda, the forerunner of South American independence, the great visionary and Caracas who toured the world to bring the most advanced ideas of his time and free our America, marshal of the French Army and colonel of the Russian Army, a tireless diplomat for freedom”.

In addition, on behalf of Venezuela, he raised his “admiration, respect and loyalty to his memory and immortal spirit. His legacy reminds us that the struggle for independence is perpetual and that love for freedom is the engine that drives us. Miranda was the flame that ignited independence consciousness, and today, 209 years after its planting, she continues to guide us in consolidating our sovereignty and building the Great Homeland.”
