President Maduro: If they wanted to frighten us, now what we have is conviction for combat

From the Gran Cacique Maiquetía Hotel, in the state of La Guaira, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the level of operational readiness demonstrated by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the Bolivarian Militia during the conferences “The People Go to The Barracks” and “The Barracks Go to the People”.

“We have 8 million registered, activated we have 6 million people who have been activated in various exercises,” he said while recalling that Venezuela has 16 years of preparation for the defense of peace “and now all we have done is accelerate it.”

“If they wanted to frighten, now what there is is conviction for combat,” he said, noting that the preparation allows “if today I order the mobilization of 2 million militiamen, tomorrow at 5:30 in the morning the streets will wake up with the presence of these militiamen.”

He insisted on the call for an end to the aggressions against Venezuela and warned that “if they dare to carry out an invasion against the country, the terror of the empire will be the Bolivarian Militia.”
