President Nicolás Maduro stressed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) celebrated the deployment of a new exercise, Military Operation Caribbean 200, to defend peace.
“Let no one threaten South America and the Caribbean, let no one threaten Venezuela, because what we want is peace, the times of the colonies have passed, no one else's colony ever, we are sovereign and independent,” said the Head of State.
He also rejected the imperialist strategy of invading Venezuela and imposing a puppet government and the peace of cemeteries on the people. “Slaves will never have peace even if they are subject to silence as our grandparents were subject to today. We are free and let nothing disturb our sovereignty. We will not be colonies, nor will we be slaves!” , said the Commander in Chief of the FANB.
