President Maduro: Our FANB is deployed to ensure the nation's comprehensive defense

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) is deployed along the coast of the central coast, from Carayaca to Higuerote, to ensure the comprehensive defense of our nation, said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

“We are covering our roads, ports, airports and all of our vital systems. From the Caribbean Sea, we have all the communication systems known and undiscovered. In Caracas, we also have the entire defensive system deployed with three guidelines: Integral Defense of the Nation, active resistance of the People and permanent offensive to guarantee territorial identity and the right to peace, to the future and to happiness,” said the President during the Independence Plan 200.

In this regard, the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, who indicated that this deployment of military units and the Bolivarian National Militia is contemplated in the country's defense plans, in which the perfect civic-military-police fusion is present.

“Venezuela is a land of peace, we don't attack anyone, but we don't deny our offensive and defensive capabilities. We are ready and willing to defend peace and our sovereignty,” emphasized the senior military officer.
