President Maduro: Venezuela is preparing Foreign Concussion Decree as a shield against threats

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced during the 20th Anniversary of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), that “it is the co-responsibility of all society, of all institutions, of the entire people, in the face of a small, medium, large, local, regional or national threat (...), to defend the homeland from aggression”.

“The authentic text, of the Decree of Foreign Concussion, which as a constitutional instrument I have in my hand, in case the country is militarily attacked, which we hope, with God's favor, will not happen,” emphasized the Venezuelan Head of State.

These statements were offered to the Military High Command and other military authorities, to refer to the recent Council of State, held this week, for the Decree of Foreign Concussion, which will soon be ready; but which is currently following the legal and social consultation process, which is going to be carried out at the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace.


“All structures must have well-established and precise orders to face any external enemy that intends to attack the territory or spaces of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela; that is what I have said and reiterated,” said the National President to emphasize the immediate organization that is available to face the aggressions of the U.S. Government.

In addition, the Venezuelan Dignitary explained that in-depth knowledge of the Organic Law on National Security has been integrated, a constitutional proposal that defines that the comprehensive defense of the nation is the co-responsibility of all society, of all institutions, of all people in the face of a threat.

He also announced that there are 8 scenarios for managing any conflict. In 25 Integral Defense Zones, one for each state, plus the capital city: Caracas.
