This Thursday, December 5, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that in Venezuela there are no “Venetian” women but Venezuelan women.
“Our women are not “Venekas”, he said in his program “Con Maduro Live de Repente”, referring to the term used in a pejorative sense against the country's women, which is the title of a song by the musical group Rawayana.
He said this when he congratulated all those who defend the identity, values and heritage of Venezuela's culture, because “there is an international campaign to steal our values, our identity.”
In that regard, he expressed his gratitude to Venezuelan women, artists and artists for their positive reaction in defense of the kindness, identity and beautiful values of Venezuelan women.
“I stimulated the debate, now that it is expressed in all its magnitude, I would give as an example what Karol G did, who 48 hours after the debate that opened in criticism of her song ('+57'), she had an intelligent, wide-ranging gesture and changed part of the lyrics, beyond the fact that criticism continued for images and other things. I claim that Karol G, my comrade, did that,” said the head of state.
