The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, said on Monday that the deportation of Colombian citizen Alex Saab to the United States (USA) is an “administrative measure of deportation justified in the national interests.”

During the inauguration of socio-productive spaces in the City of Entrepreneurship, located in the “José Rafael Núñez Tenorio” Urbanism of the Giant Cacique Tiuna Commune, the president in charge stressed that “the Venezuelan people can have confidence (...) they must know that the primary interest and the main interest is Venezuela”.

He stressed that the Bolivarian Government does not think about anything else “other than the interests, the rights of Venezuela, protecting our country, guaranteeing tranquility, peace, development, the future of our children, of our girls, guaranteeing the hope of our people.”

In this regard, he reiterated his call to work together for the well-being of all. “That if there are dark forces, that if there are petty forces, that if there are those who try to stop the good course of the Venezuelan people, good always prevails and that is the good of our country and it is the joint function of a people destined to have great development and to be a great power,” he emphasized.
