President of the AN announces start of National Dialogue

This Thursday, August 6, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, announced from his Telegram channel the start of the National Dialogue with representatives of the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and former deputies of that body elected in 2015.
The meeting marks the resumption of direct talks between the Government and the opposition, after a period of stagnation. During the opening day, the spokespersons agreed on a work agenda focused on economic priorities, electoral guarantees and attention to the social situation.
