President of the AN visited temporary camp installed at Liceo Carlos Delgado Chalbaud by Car

Deputy Jorge Rodríguez, president of the General Staff for the Creation of Transitional Camps, which will serve families who lost their homes due to the double earthquake of June 24, visited the Colonel Carlos Delgado Chalbaud National Educational Unit, located in the Coche parish of Caracas, where 200 people are housed.

“We inspected the Colonel Carlos Delgado Chalbaud National Educational Unit, located in Coche, which has been set up as a temporary camp and will now receive 200 people who are victims of earthquakes, who are in the Ali Primera Park, in Catia,” he said.

The General Staff for the Creation of Transitional Camps has as its main function the development and planning of actions that lead to the construction of housing, in a short space of time, to respond to affected families.

The General Staff carried out this tour framed in the creation of temporary camps, as well as planning for the construction of short-term housing.

He stressed that 200 people have been brought to this educational complex from the Parque del Oeste Ali Primera, with the objective of ensuring that the families staying have decent facilities.
