A year ago, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, was re-elected for the period 2025—2031, consolidating his third consecutive term and reaffirming the popular will to continue the path outlined by the Bolivarian Revolution.

In the elections of July 28, 2024, the president obtained 5 million 150 thousand 092 votes, equivalent to 51.20% of the total issued, according to the first official bulletin of the National Electoral Council (CNE).

This result was proclaimed as a victory for peace, stability and national dignity, in the midst of fascist attacks led by the extreme right wing María Corina Machado and the losing candidate Edmundo González.

“I can say to Venezuela and to the world that I am Nicolás Maduro Moros, that I am the re-elected president of Venezuela and I am going to defend our democracy, our law and our people,” he said at the time.

The re-election was celebrated by the People as an act of democratic resistance and continuity of Commander Hugo Chávez's legacy.

“Fascism in Venezuela, the land of Bolivar and Chávez, will not pass. Not today, not ever!” , he emphasized.

One year after this triumph and popular support, the National President reaffirms his revolutionary course, committed to social justice, Latin American unity and the defense of national sovereignty.
