Regional authorities enable road to Cuyagua in the state of Aragua

A road cleaning and maintenance operation in the municipality of Ocumare, on the Gold Coast, in the state of Aragua, made it possible to remove 22 tons of solid waste in the community of Cuyagua, in addition to restoring the passage on the road that connects Cata to that coastal town.

“Thanks to the united work and support of our governor Johana Sánchez, we were able to comply with the collection of waste and the adaptation of the road. Our commitment is to provide safe and clean roads for our residents and for the tourists who visit us,” said Mayor Wilmer Leal, in statements replicated by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).

More than 130 workers participated in the tasks, which included weeding, cleaning and clearing the road. To cover the stretch, the staff was organized into two groups: one departed from the Cata roundabout and the other from the Las Casitas sector, with the objective of servicing the main road in its entirety.

The works were carried out jointly by the Urban Maintenance Department of the Mayor's Office, Roads of Aragua and Costas de Aragua.
