Ruta de la Comunicación Popular travels through community media in Yaracuy

The Minister of Popular Power for Communication and Information, Miguel Pérez Pirela, reported that the Popular Communication Route arrived in the state of Yaracuy, where he visited community media to learn about its operation and strengthen its work with communities.

Through his Telegram channel, Pérez Pirela highlighted the trajectory of Sultana 99.3 FM, in Aroa, the entity's first community radio station, which has 24 years of experience and has established itself as a training center for popular communicators in the region.

He also highlighted the work of Marín 96.9 FM, in San Felipe, a radio station that maintains a close relationship with communities through programming aimed at gender issues, women, youth and peasants.

He also indicated that in Nirgua, the Route reached Cabuy 92.7 FM, a radio linked to the communes that also articulates the work of foundations and social care organizations.

The Popular Communication Route is an initiative of the Ministry of Popular Power for Communication and Information and the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Communication and Culture, aimed at carrying out diagnoses, providing support and carrying out technical updates in community media across the country.
