The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME) reported that travel authorizations for children and adolescents, processed before June 24 whose original departure route was scheduled through Simón Bolívar de Maiquetía International Airport, retain their full validity and legal validity, despite the change of air terminals.

Through his Instagram account, he specified “The unexpected change of schedules, routes or the departure air terminal (reassigned to alternate airports authorized in the national territory due to the current contingency) does not cancel, impair or alter the authorization granted by their legal representatives”.

He also added that this emergency measure will remain in force strictly until July 15, 2026 and added that “those citizens whose travel plans or validity of documents exceed this deadline, must apply for a new travel authorization with the competent authorities adjusted to the operating air terminals.”

This measure is supported by the Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC), and the Autonomous Service of Registries and Notaries (SAREN).
