The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME) informs all users nationwide that, following the recent earthquakes, a special procedure has been established for the rescheduling of passport appointments that were originally scheduled between June 25 and July 13, 2026.

The agency, through its social networks, explained that the rescheduling of the passport appointment will be carried out through a few simple steps through its web portal.

Users who wish to carry out the procedure must access the entity's official web portal: www.saime.gob.ve and enter their username and password, once inside, in the “Passport” section, the user must enter the details of their current appointment.

Subsequently, the system will show three options: “edit”, “cancel” and “download spreadsheet”. To start the process, the “cancel” button must be clicked. Then the “Last Order” section will be activated, where the “edit” and “reschedule” options will appear. You must click on “reschedule” to view the availability of active offices.

The user can select the active office of their choice, as well as the new day and time for their face-to-face service. Carefully review all the uploaded data before confirming and clicking on “schedule appointment” and downloading the new appointment sheet in digital format.

The SAIME reiterates its commitment to citizens and I inform that if users have any problems, they have direct service channels: Through the call center 0-800-SAIME-00 (0-800-72463-00), from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and direct messaging through the entity's official social networks, clearly specifying: name and surname, identity card, contact number and detailed description of the problem presented.
