School Food Distribution Plan began deployment in Zulia

From the Collection Center of the municipality of San Francisco, in the state of Zulia, the deployment of the Bolivarian School Food Distribution Plan (PAEB) began, with the objective of guaranteeing nutritional care for 550,000 children and young people in the state, for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year next Monday, September 14.

“From this space, we are going to serve 2,227 schools, of which 511 are state schools and 1,716 are national. This is the office that will guarantee food for our boys and girls next Monday, September 14 for the new school year,” announced Governor Luis Caldera.

During the day, 560 tons of food were delivered, including food and protein, which will be transported by a fleet of 15 trucks to 72 local distribution centers in the different municipalities of the state.

These actions are carried out under the guidelines of the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, in coordination with the Ministry of Popular Power for Education, the Government of Zulia, the National Corporation for School Food (CNAE), the Mayor's Office of San Francisco and the public distribution network comprised of Mercal, Pdval and Los Andes Dairy.
