SENAMECF calls on families of earthquake victims to take DNA tests

The National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences (SENAMECF) called on the families of the victims of the double earthquake of last June 24 to carry out DNA tests to speed up the identification process.

In a statement, the institution made an “appeal to family members who know or have indications that their loved ones are in Los Silos de Bolipuerto de La Guaira or Bello Monte”.

According to the publication, this process will serve “to achieve the identification of victims through scientific comparisons of genetic profiles and provide certainty and peace to families”.

Families must go to the SENAMECF headquarters, Bello Monte, from Monday to Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
