On August 10, 1994, the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT) was created, men and women who currently, through public policies, contribute their work effectively to the country's economic development.
With the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, the proceeds from SENIAT are intended to promote the security and defense of Venezuela, for social, cultural and educational development, among others.
Despite the economic war against the nation, the National Customs and Tax Superintendent, José David Cabello Rondón, has carried out actions framed in the Homeland Plan and following instructions from President Nicolás Maduro to guarantee the economic and social protection of Venezuela.
