Seven banks provide credit assistance to merchants in La Guaira

As part of a day aimed at boosting local economic growth, seven banks, both public and private, paid special attention to the commercial sector of the state of La Guaira.

This initiative between the Government and the Venezuelan financial sector aims to inject capital to reactivate production and preserve more than 10,000 jobs in the entity affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

Among the banks that participated in the business round are: Tesoro, Digital de los Trabajadores, Venezuela, Nacional de Crédito (BNC), Sofitasa, Bancamiga and Plaza, as well as at least 1,800 merchants.

The businessman in the refrigeration sector, Fabián Guevara, said that this space will contribute to creating jobs in La Guaira, as well as boosting the economy.

For her part, the vice-president of the National Credit Bank (BNC), Carmen Pérez, specified that banks apply differentiated mechanisms, according to each business sector.

He explained that among the benefits of this offer are grace periods, low initial capital, the elimination of commissions and the extension of payment periods, as published by VTV.

For his part, the governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, highlighted on his social networks that an extraordinary business round was launched with seven public and private banks to lift us up and witness the rebirth of the state.

“I thank you once again for your trust in the Bolivarian Government, which for three days will serve you through its financial system with exceptional conditions, with an expedited response to your requests without delay or bureaucracy,” he emphasized.
