The Simón Bolívar Monumental Stadium in Caracas, passed the inspection and evaluation carried out by members of the Presidential Commission for the Evaluation of Infrastructure Habitability, executed this Wednesday with strict monitoring and evaluation measures.
The structural inspection and evaluation was carried out by civil engineers Cristina Mejías and Jhonnathan Rodríguez, who assured that the large building passes the stability and habitability tests: “The Monumental stadium is in very good condition, it has some small construction details that can be fixed, but it has its green label,” Mejía explained to the press.
With this green label, the large venue is allowed access for sporting and mass events.
It should be noted that the Presidential Commission for the Evaluation of Infrastructure Habitability is the only body authorized by the State to classify the conditions of structures that suffered damage after the earthquakes of June 24.
This commission is composed of a large body of inspectors who have sufficient experience and optimal preparation to carry out the evaluations.
