The Maiquetia International Airport Institute (IAIM) announced that operations at its temporary domestic and international flight terminals will begin on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

In a statement, the IAIM highlighted that these areas were enabled “under high standards to ensure operational safety and excellence in service”, following the damage to airport facilities caused by the earthquakes of last June 24.

The Maiquetía International Airport Institute (IAIM) informs citizens that starting Tuesday, September 1, 2026, operations will formally begin in temporary terminals authorized for both domestic and international flights.

This openness is possible thanks to our unwavering resilience and a process of reconstruction, under high quality standards and the latest technologies.

More than an infrastructure, this space represents a profound reconnection with the world and with what is ours: the reunion with our roots, the union of families and the certainty that the door of Venezuela is still open to the future.
