The Bolivarian Government carried out a technical inspection in Galipán with a view to its controlled reopening

The ministers of Ecosocialism, Nelson Rodríguez, and for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, led a technical inspection and a community assembly in Galipán, a town located in the Waraira Repano National Park, Macuto parish, La Guaira state, to coordinate its progressive reopening, after the double earthquake of last June 24.
As reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), the authorities presented a detailed technical report on conditions in the area, as a starting point for establishing the phases of reactivation of this tourist space.
They also agreed on a disciplined opening scheme, in coordination with the National Park Institute (Inparks) and the community.
In addition, priority was given to the design of strategies aimed at reactivating tourism and the economy, and the promotion of the productive activities of farmers, service providers, innkeepers and restaurants that nourish the tourism sector as the main engine of the area.
The Venezuela Renace Plan is a policy issued by the Executive to address the rehabilitation and reconstruction of housing and infrastructure impacted by the natural disaster, with priority deployment in the state of La Guaira and the Capital District.
