The National Government is making progress on the installation in Greater Caracas of 50 temporary camps to serve families who have lost their homes due to the earthquakes of last June 24.

This was reported by the sectoral vice-president for Social and Territorial Socialism, Héctor Rodríguez, through a message published on his Telegram channel, Rodríguez explained that many of these spaces will be installed in schools, which “are a safe and living environment for the entire community.”

In this regard, the minister of education also shared a video in which, Ramón Quintero, director of the Pedro Emilio Coll high school, in Coche, indicates that this educational center will be converted into a temporary camp to provide all possible attention to those who will be served in this space.
