The Bolivarian Government is working quickly to evict schools set up as camps before classes

Jorge Rodríguez, president of the General Staff for the Creation of Transitional Camps, indicated that the National Executive has established an accelerated road map as the new school year approaches, in order to evict schools authorized by the emergency, before September-October

In this regard, Rodríguez explained that they are working on the plan for the construction of transitional housing, which provides basic services (kitchen, bathroom, rooms) “so that families can live together in a dignified way while waiting for their final homes.”

He also added that they are working on locating houses and apartments in the Great Venezuela Housing Mission that are yet to be completed and completed as soon as possible. As well as the purchase of homes in the secondary market.

On the other hand, he indicated that the National Assembly is going to reform the laws, “at least of the Rent Act” so that people do not feel any fear of renting their homes, there are currently up to 200,000 that are not being rented because people do not feel legal security.

Rodríguez highlighted that through the Venezuela Renace program, funds have been provided for condominium councils in affected areas such as: Chacao, San Bernardino, El Paraíso, La Guaira, Altamira, among others, to carry out minor repairs in buildings that, despite suffering surface damage, maintain living conditions.

The president of the General Staff for the Creation of Transitional Camps, also reported that the National Government is in an accelerated search for spaces to build in what the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez has called anti-seismic cities and anti-seismic housing, to build urban areas that will have schools, fields, shopping centers, with activity so that people can feel at ease in that space.
