The Bolivarian Government is currently working on the simultaneous intervention of 1,500 schools: 1,000 affected by the double earthquake and another 500 that were already part of the comprehensive care plan, said the Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez.
During an inspection of the comprehensive rehabilitation work being carried out in the Central American National Educational Unit, located in the Macarao parish, Caracas, Rodríguez explained that, in parallel, state, municipal and school departments are moving forward with a special rezoning plan, with the objective of ensuring that, in the face of the contingency, student enrollment is fully covered.
It is worth remembering that the National Government is making progress in the comprehensive rehabilitation of schools after the seismic events ahead of the next return to school, scheduled for September 14.
