The president of the General Staff for the Creation of Transitional Camps, Jorge Rodríguez, reported that in the afternoon of this Wednesday, July 1st, an inspection was carried out at the Monumental Simón Bolívar stadium to be converted into a temporary camp to house victims of the double earthquake of last June 24.

From his Telegram channel, he explained that “as part of caring for families affected by earthquakes, we carried out an inspection at the Simón Bolívar Monumental Stadium. As part of the General Staff for the Creation of Transitional Camps, we evaluated areas to install temporary safe zones.”

He reiterated “the commitment to providing care with high standards of dignity, while moving forward with accelerated planning for the construction of new homes.”

Rodríguez attached a video to the publication, in which he can see, together with the rest of the members of the commission at the sports venue, carrying out the necessary articulations for the deployment of the temporary camp and the work carried out to adapt the areas.
