The national government gave more than two million dollars to 564 projects in Táchira

This Thursday, September 10, the Bolivarian Government awarded a total of 2 million 104 thousand dollars to 564 projects in the state of Táchira during 2026, as part of policies aimed at boosting local productivity.

The information was provided by the governor of the entity, Freddy Bernal during a ceremony to award funding to 37 productive initiatives, in which he was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Productive Development of the Ministry of Popular Power for Women, Maryury Bargiela, and the president of the Tachirense Family Foundation, Karen Durán.

The regional president highlighted the leading role of women in economic dynamism, specifying that 528 of the allocations, equivalent to 93% of the total, have been received by women entrepreneurs.

Bernal emphasized that regional productivity responds to the articulated work between public banks, institutions and small, medium and large producers. In this regard, he highlighted that 2,171 recruitment days have been carried out in 15 municipalities and more than 20,000 people have been trained through training programs.

He also announced that entrepreneurs in the textile sector in Tachirense will join the production of uniforms for the national school plan for the period 2026-2027.
