The National Government initiated post-seismic repairs at the Faculty of Humanities of the UCV

The Presidential Commission for the Recovery of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) began post-seismic repair work in the spaces of the Faculty of Humanities and Education (FHye), tasks that are being carried out in coordination with university authorities and the Council for Preservation and Development (COPRED).

As reported by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), rehabilitation actions are focused on addressing minor damage caused by recent earthquakes.

According to the statements of the architect Carlos Romero, inspector of Quadrant I for maintenance of the UCV, the approaches contemplate the correction of small fissures and cracks located in the classrooms of the south wing, located on the first floor of the building.

In the same way, the corrective maintenance plan includes the repair and replacement of several covers in that area, with the objective of ensuring the structural integrity of the facilities and providing safe spaces for the university community to carry out academic activities.
