The UK Rescue Team thanked the People and the Bolivarian Government for their reception

The International Search and Rescue Team of the United Kingdom expressed its gratitude to the Bolivarian Government for its reception and the facilities to carry out the rescue work after the two earthquakes recorded in the country, last Wednesday, June 24.

“The local people have been incredible helping us. Local and military authorities have been supporting us with transportation, fuel and other services. We have worked hard to help local people get back to normal,” he said on his account on the social network X.

In this regard, Gavin Kersley, one of the commanders of the UK's ISR, told El Diario that he and his team, made up of 68 people and 6 search dogs, arrived in Venezuela on 27 June.

“We feel that the people of Venezuela are being affected in this way. We're here doing everything we can to support in any way we can,” Kersley said from La Guaira.
