Hello my friend Furrialeño. How are you? With just 48 hours left until the country celebrates one month of the worst natural tragedy in its history, new revelations come to light every day from this side of the world. And, unfortunately for Venezuelan extremism, they all seem to point in the same direction: to disassemble the carefully constructed story by María “La Chick-Flada” Machado and the entire constellation of wage earners, propagandists and professional repeaters that orbit around her.
The tragedy ended up ripping off the mask of those who have been trafficking in the suffering of others for years. They are the same merchants of calamity who, in the face of every crisis, do not seek to alleviate pain or extend a hand, but to turn debris into a platform, tears into propaganda and the anguish of thousands of families into fuel for their political agenda.
But, before we continue... Goddess! I received a message from my friend, your friend, everyone's friend. He confessed to me that now, yes, I did not understand and do not want to understand.
Anyway, let's do our thing.
Brother! I came to one of the best restaurants in the capital to meet our dear friend La Charlotte (don't forget to greet her in English). What he confessed to me almost leaves me stiff, petrified and asking for an explanation on the menu.
Turns out the fairytale between “La Chick-flada” Machado and his old friends at the State Department seems to be entering its most uncomfortable chapter. The connection that once seemed like a direct cable to the power outlet now looks more like an overloaded power strip: full of lights, but with the imminent risk of running out of power at any time.
As La Charlotte tells me, in the corridors of power they no longer hide their annoyance with Machado and his closest circle. The “honeymoon” seems to be turning into a “lemon acid moon”. The Americans themselves, after reviewing the pieces of the puzzle, would have ended up seeing what others had been warning for a long time: a media machine carefully armed to influence the narrative, manipulate perception in public opinion, and the most serious thing: to pressure decisions.
What some people sold as a masterful operation begins to look like a play with overacted actors and a script that no one wants to keep reading. In Washington they say: “patience is also limited”, and even the most powerful connections can run out of signal when the power strip starts to fail.
According to La Charlotte, last week one of the most uncomfortable political storms erupted in power circles. The reason: the movements of the communication teams of “La Chick-flada” would have been interpreted by some sectors as an approach, all too evident, to the most radical wing of the Democratic Party, once again using the Venezuela issue as a chess piece to beat key figures of the administration in the face of the mid-term elections.
The maneuver, far from generating sympathy, caused severe discomfort among those who expected greater political discipline and fewer dual-band games. Because in Washington, where alliances are usually written with invisible ink, there is an unwritten rule: you can negotiate, you can push and you can even change your strategy, but when someone feels that they left it exposed, the political bill comes without warning.
The problem —as La Charlotte tells me— is that the image of a leader capable of moving between different sectors begins to clash with the perception of someone who changes their interlocutor as the wind blows. And in high-level politics, that line between strategic skill and opportunism is often too thin, simple, and you can't trust those who don't keep their word and who play double play.

The crisis would have left an uncomfortable question on the table: is it a masterful political survival move or a risky bet on the part of María Corina that ended up eroding the trust of those who once opened the door for her? Because in the centers of power there is a rule that no one writes, but everyone knows: political differences are negotiated, errors are corrected, but the perception of political betrayal leaves a mark that is much more difficult to erase.
THE CRISIS BETWEEN THE PUD AND MARÍA
CORINA IS WORSENING! Diosdado! Last week I told you about the hotbed that was cooking within the PUPU (the Unitary Platform) after the famous meeting organized by “La Chick-flada” and Inmundo. A summit that promised a lot of noise, a lot of photographs and, surely, a good dose of sentences prepared for the gallery, but that so far has left more questions than answers.
Meanwhile, the few faithful who are still betting on the most radical wing of Venezuelan extremism are still waiting for the famous conclusions of that meeting. And here comes the small uncomfortable detail: it seems that they will have to arm themselves with patience... a lot of patience.
Spoiler: don't expect fireworks or historical announcements. Not because there are no problems on the table, but because within that political house the internal battle seems to be more alive than ever. What was supposed to be a demonstration of unity ended up looking like another episode of the eternal reality show of an opposition that has been promising coordination for years, while knives and bills are being removed from under the table.
Unit photography looks nice for cameras, but when the reflectors are turned off, cracks start to appear. And for example, a button: Delsa Jennifer, your friend don't deny it, is still in the ring demanding a space inside the dialogue table. On the other hand, Henry Ramos Allup assures that he will support the initiative as long as that version of Democratic Action has a representation.
But in the midst of all this, the elephant appears in the room, Ramos Allup himself, who ended up admitting something that many commented in a low voice: the administration does not want “La Chik-flada”. That is the crux of the matter, everyone is trying to jump ship to guarantee their survival, the problem is that another pair of jewels are waiting for them on the other side of the sea: Julio Borges and Leopoldo López, to the extremist opposition, if they don't catch the shit, the one without a nose.
The big question now is whether they will be able to sell an image of cohesion again or if, as has happened so many times, they will end up coming out with another statement full of solemn words, historic calls and zero concrete answers. The only thing I can tell you is that time is running out, and since they like it: tick, tock, tick, tock. Brother! I know why I'm telling you this.
PENDING A POSSIBLE TROJAN HORSE
My friend from Furriala, if you thought that MilkEwake — that character who, as you well know, keeps moving in the corridors where decisions are made — had not been reported, you are wrong. That damn thing seems to have its own antenna: it finds out before the professional propagandists and the thinkers with the payroll.
The first thing MilkeWake warns me about is two obscure characters from the fauna of Venezuelan extremism who now intend to disguise themselves as gentle sheep. They present themselves as fervent supporters of the technical panel that will be installed between the extinct AN2015 and the legitimate AN presided over by brother Jorge Rodríguez, they are trying to sell an image of good faith that few buy.
Behind this sudden enthusiasm to support the technical table hides a much murkier agenda. Although they publicly claim that they will support the process, their real objective would be to dynamite it from the inside, to cause its implosion and to recycle the old story as always: “with the Venezuelan Government it is impossible to reach any kind of agreement”. Rather than contributing to a solution, they seem to be betting, once again, on failure as a political strategy.

Worst of all, these two dark characters are convinced that no one knows their true intentions. As usual, they are once again mistaken in their calculations. They are fully measured and their movements are closely followed. And I can tell you that they will not only have to face my abilities, but also to much more powerful forces, the same ones that in the past were deceived by them and ended up witnessing the disaster into which they turned what they once called the “Interim Government of Narnia”.
My friend MilkEwake gave me another warning: a new dirty war offensive is coming, one of those that some try to disguise as a “political strategy”, but which in the end end up being the same old script with a new cover. Another campaign of noise, manipulation and psychological operations aimed, according to its promoters, at hurting the morale of Chavism. A script repeated so many times that it already seems like a low-budget film where the actors change, but the failure remains the same.
Because when there are no arguments, there are plenty of attacks; when ideas are scarce, the scandal manual appears; and when there is no convincing proposal, there is always the temptation to manufacture a parallel reality to the point of headlines, rumors and prefabricated campaigns.
The most striking thing - MilkEWake tells me - is that behind this new offensive there would be something deeper: part of the communication apparatus, linked to extremism, is seeking alliances with operators and old acquaintances of dark networks of power, driven more by private interests than by any political conviction.
According to MilkEWake, the desperation within that ecosystem has reached such a level that some are no longer seeking to build a political alternative, but to survive politically at any cost.
I'll stay here for a few days, there are some meetings coming up that I'm not going to miss. I'll be telling you.
REMEMBER THAT I AM YOUR FRIEND, FITNESS IS IMPORTANT.
CHANGE AND OUT.
P.S.: TELL YOUR FRIEND THAT I'M TAKING WHAT HE SAID VERY SERIOUSLY.
