The Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT) and the regional headquarters of the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) kicked off the third week of the 2026 Science and Technology Vacation Plan in the states of Anzoátegui, Nueva Esparta and Falcón, within the framework of the National Science Seed Program.

According to a press release, during this new day, the program focused on learning Astronomy, Physics and Mathematics through playful dynamics, practical workshops and pedagogical tools designed for boys, girls and young people between 7 and 12 years of age.

In Anzoátegui, Fundacite welcomed participants who explored concepts about the Solar System, the movement of the planets and the enigmas of the universe through interactive games and strategies focused on stimulating analytical thinking.

For their part, at the headquarters of Porlamar (Mariño municipality), 40 children and young people participated in Astronomy, Physics and Mathematics workshops. They made birdwatching towards the coastal area using binoculars and refracting, reflecting and Keplerian telescopes, in addition to carrying out practical tests on electromagnetism and static electricity with magnets and balloons.

In the laboratories of the Don Juan de la Montaña Academic Complex of the Francisco de Miranda National Experimental University (Unefm), Fundacite Falcón served 105 scientific seedbeds. The participants interacted with specialized tutors to learn about the study of celestial bodies, stars and optical measurement instruments.
