The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) is continuing with the development of the “Sovereign Caribbean 200” campaign maneuvers, as part of the actions carried out by the military institution to protect our sovereignty and territorial integrity, said the Minister of Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López.

Through a video posted on his Instagram account, the senior military officer showed all the maritime, land and air deployment of the olive green men and women facing the Caribbean Sea.

“Preparing ourselves on the ground to increase our operational readiness in the face of the military threat that has arisen in the Caribbean against Venezuela. The Bolivarian National Armed Forces, everything that corresponds to our military doctrine, a written doctrine, guided by our Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez, continued with great fervor by our Commander in Chief Nicolás Maduro, written with our own hands. We are, as our doctrine corresponds, raising our operational size for the Caribbean,” Padrino said in the aforementioned audiovisual.
