The sectoral vice-president for the Social Area, Héctor Rodríguez, highlighted this Thursday that Venezuela currently has a total of 107 temporary camps to meet the housing contingencies of people affected by the earthquakes recorded on June 24, with an installed capacity of 25,282 places, where 21,210 people are served.

Caracas leads in the number of shelters with a total of 41 authorized camps, which have an installed capacity of 10,908 places and house a population of 8,205 people.

The state of La Guaira has 28 camps in operation, and has a total of 10,577 people in its facilities.

In the state, Miranda completes the report with 28 assigned camps. The logistics structures of the latter entity have an installed capacity of 3,603 available places, of which are occupied by a group of 1,726 people.

Finally, the state of Aragua has a total of 10 authorized camps, with a capacity of 776 places, which currently house 702 people.
