Trujillo Legislative Council recognizes the circus cultural guild

In the state of Trujillo, a special session of the Legislative Council was held to recognize the work and trajectory of the circus guild in the entity, on the occasion of the celebration of International Clown Day.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the session room was filled with laughter and joy with the presence of the artists, who celebrated their day being recognized for their tireless work for the culture and recreation of children, adolescents and adults.

Legislator Carlos Iglesias led the session, sharing the podium with the mayor of the Trujillo municipality, Carlos Terán and with the Single Authority for Culture, Temístocles Cabezas Morales. During the ceremony, the dedication of circus artists and their contribution to local culture was exalted.

The ordained speaker, José Cegarra Briceño, a prominent regional figure in this art, motivated the artists present to continue working with passion. In addition, special recognition was given to Luys Augustin, for his outstanding artistic career as a promoter of circus culture and arts in Trujillo.

For his part, Unístocles Cabezas, on behalf of the Institute of Culture and the Arts of the Bolivarian Government of Trujillo and the regional Cabinet of Culture, awarded awards to circus artists. The special session was not only a tribute to the dedication and talent of the circus guild, but also an opportunity to strengthen ties between local authorities and artists, in addition to promoting culture and art in the region.
