Trujillo security and protection forces attend emergency caused by rains in Boconó

Security agencies from the state of Trujillo are deployed in the Boconó municipality, specifically in the town of Batatal, in connection with the alert situation generated by heavy rains.

In the area, a section of the road collapsed after the La Mona bridge was undermined, resulting in a road blockade between Mosquey and Boca del Monte. In addition, there were additional collapses on the road axis that connects the Boconó municipality with Campo Elías.

In this regard, according to a report by Venezolana de Televisión, it became known that officials from the Civil Protection, Bolivarian National Guard, Fire Department and Police carry out risk assessment and coordination of clearance and recovery efforts.
