On December 28, 2013, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces Television (TVFANB) began broadcasting, an audiovisual platform created to disseminate institutional information, record operational activities and strengthen the strategic communication of the FANB.

Its activation responded to the need to have its own medium to document the work of the components, the Strategic Integral Defense Region (REDI) and the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (ZODI) that are part of the system and of the units deployed throughout the territory.

The television station began with an informative program focusing on military events, combined exercises, military training and land protection operations. From the first months, it incorporated live coverage of official events, special broadcasts on historic dates, and spaces dedicated to doctrinal analysis, military history and the dissemination of institutional messages.

With the advancement of its technical infrastructure, it integrated correspondents into the operating units and adopted a production scheme that made it possible to record maneuvers, training exercises, citizen security operations and activities to support the population. The station consolidated an audiovisual archive that documents joint exercises, border detachments, aerospace defense operations and civil protection actions carried out by the FANB.

The platform has become a reference channel for the dissemination of messages from the Military High Command, the coverage of promotional ceremonies, component anniversaries, activation of units and the presentation of new weapon systems. It has also incorporated spaces dedicated to training, with content on doctrine, history, military regulations and professionalization processes.

Throughout its history, TVFANB has maintained its function as an institutional communication medium aimed at recording, preserving and disseminating the operational and administrative activity of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, reinforcing strategic communication and public access to official information in the defense sector.
