UNES expels those involved in viral video for disciplinary offenses

The dean of the nucleus of the National Experimental Security University (UNES) Barinas, Jesús Manuel González, reported that the disciplinary procedure was carried out for the removal of students Anthony López, Jesús Esteban Pereira, Alberto Rodríguez García and David Jesús Uribe, who violated numbers 6, 17 and 25 of article 92 of the disciplinary regime.

González noted that the measure complies with due process and that those involved were notified to sign the recall and deliver the corresponding hat and shirt.

“We act in accordance with the regulations and to protect institutional honor,” said the dean.

In this regard, the National Experimental Security University issued a statement addressed to the university community and public opinion to establish a position on the audiovisual material disseminated on social networks where a group of individuals can be seen wearing the institution's garments and badges.

The UNES reported that, after activating the disciplinary control bodies, the citizens identified in the video were immediately and irrevocably expelled for committing offenses that violate morals, internal regulations and institutional honor.

The institution reiterated that discipline, ethics, respect and a vocation for service are essential pillars of its educational model, in addition to warning that any behavior that affects the prestige and training process of those who make up the academic community will not be tolerated.

He also stressed that his mission is to train officials who respect human rights, guarantors of the law and with a sense of closeness to citizens, in addition to promoting a preventive and humanistic approach to citizen security.

UNES reaffirmed its commitment to continue training professionals with moral solvency and excellence at the service of the nation.
