The V Biennial of the South Peoples in Resistance was extended until the end of January 2024, with the purpose of allowing the public of Caracas and the state of Aragua to continue to enjoy the traveling exhibitions.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the artistic exhibitions will be available throughout the month of January on Pérez Almarza Boulevard, in the Maracay Art Gallery, as well as in La Tejerías, Santos Michelena municipality, while in Caracas the exhibitions will continue at the Museum of Fine Arts.

Let us remember that in this edition, the theme of the Southern Biennial focuses on the climate crisis, in order to generate awareness and awareness among citizens about global warming, which left serious damage and consequences worldwide

47 national artists participate in the event with their different exhibitions and six Venezuelans have been honored during these months for their long artistic and popular careers.
