Venezuela and Indonesia reiterate their commitment to building cooperation mechanisms

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil Pinto, held a telephone meeting with his counterpart from the Republic of Indonesia, Sugiono, in which the cooperation agenda was reviewed.

The information was released through a publication on the Foreign Minister's Telegram channel, in which it was detailed that during the call, “the excellent state of our bilateral relations and the current situation in Venezuela” were addressed.

They also highlighted the alliance between these peoples in the commercial, energy and productive spheres and the need to move forward in building cooperation mechanisms for mutual benefit.

“In addition, we express the gratitude of the Bolivarian Government for Indonesia's firm stance in support of the United Nations Charter and the principles of sovereignty and independence of Venezuela,” he wrote.
