Venezuela beats Japan and advances to the semifinals in the World Baseball Classic

The Venezuelan national team beat Japan's ninth, eight races by five, to advance to the semifinals in the World Baseball Classic.
For Venezuela, Ranger Suárez was in charge of opening the actions from the hill in a game staged at LoanDepot Park in the city of Miami.
The Venezuelan worked for three full innings in which he allowed four hits including two home runs, five runs and struck out four rivals.
The actions opened in the same first episode when Ronald Acuña Jr. in Yoshinobu Yamamoto's second pitch hit a home run through center field to set the score 1-0. The duel was immediately equalized thanks to a gigantic fly close to the designated hitter of the Japanese team Shohei Ohtani.
For the second episode, Ezequiel Tovar doubled. Gleyber Torres, on the other hand, scored 2-1 thanks to an extra base that moved Tovar. The second inning Japan went down the fast track thanks to two consecutive strikeouts by the Venezuelan serpentinero. Maikel Garcia added two more lines thanks to a powerful home run in the fifth inning. Venezuela came up with a score of 7-5 thanks to a three-run hit by Wilyer Abreu in the sixth inning.
Tovar opened the eighth with a double, to be driven by Tubey from Gleyber who put 8-5 in favor of Venezuela, the final result of the match.
Venezuela will face Italy on Monday 16 at 8:00 p.m., local time, and with this triumph it ensures its participation in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
