Venezuela maintains exchanges with multilateral entities to strengthen the joint agenda

In the continuation of the working meetings that began
recently, the Deputy Minister for Multilateral Issues of the Ministry for
Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Joaquín Pérez Ay,
held exchanges with the accredited representatives in Venezuela of the CAF
— Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), the
Pan American
Health Organization (PAHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
On his social networks, the senior diplomat of the
Venezuelan Foreign Ministry summarized that “these meetings allowed us to review the different
areas of cooperation, assess the work being carried out in the
field together with our national institutions and exchange perspectives
on opportunities to continue strengthening and diversifying the agenda
of joint work, based on national priorities.”
The authorities also discussed the importance of
continuing to articulate capacities and resources that contribute to
institutional strengthening, social protection, health and sustainable development,
ensuring that international cooperation translates into concrete results
and greater national capacities at the service of the Venezuelan people.
The Deputy Minister for Multilateral Issues affirmed that, from
the Bolivarian Government, a close and
constructive dialogue will continue to be promoted with international partners, based on respect, trust
and complementary efforts, with the common objective of contributing to the well-being and integral development of the South American country.
