Venezuela reaffirms commitment to promote cooperation with Jordan

The Minister of People's Power for Relations and Foreign Trade of Venezuela, Félix Plasencia, held a telephone conversation this Friday with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi.

Through his Instagram account , the Venezuelan Foreign Minister thanked the immediate humanitarian assistance sent by the Jordanian Government and transmitted his “wishes for peace in the Middle East”.

During this contact, the Jordanian high representative expressed “his condolences to the People and Government of Venezuela, following the recent seismic phenomena that impacted the country.”

Finally, both foreign ministers confirmed their firm will to deepen strategic ties between Caracas and Amman, “promoting cooperation in trade, investment and agriculture”, and the forthcoming opening of the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in our country.
