Venezuela received 22.8 tons of non-perishable food from US NGO GEM

This Friday, Venezuela received 22,812 kilograms of non-perishable food sent from Miami by the American NGO Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), as part of the humanitarian assistance provided by the United States to families affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.
The Venezuelan Government received this new aid at the “Simon Bolivar” International Airport, in the state of La Guaira, where the flight loaded with food landed.
Since last June 24, the date on which the tragedy that hit the states of La Guaira, Miranda, Aragua, Facón and Carabobo, and Greater Caracas occurred, various governments around the world and non-governmental organizations have expressed solidarity with Venezuela, sending humanitarian aid.
