The Governor of the state of La Guaira, Alejandro Terán, visited the Narciso Gonell Transitional Camp, where the Venezuela Ríe community vacation plan is being developed.

In this regard, he pointed out that this vacation plan allows us to give continuity to the pedagogical process of children, and to reinforce values and learning, “only through activities other than those they see during the school year, because here they do it with songs and games.”

In the case of the Narciso Gonell camp, he assured that 83 families are served, “more than 260 people who are here because they lost their homes with the double earthquake of last twenty-fourth of June, but that has not been an obstacle to not developing this beautiful initiative that ensures the right to recreation, culture and sports for all children and adolescents who are in these camps, but which in turn also involves parents and activates the joy, the hope of all of them”.

He also reiterated the government's commitment to the affected families, “the Bolivarian Government is working around the clock to guarantee them their decent housing.”
