Venezuelan and Kuwaiti foreign ministers maintain telephone contact after earthquakes (+Independence)

The Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, held a telephone contact this Sunday with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who expressed solidarity with Venezuela after the devastating earthquakes that occurred last June 24.

Through his Telegram channel, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister said that his counterpart expressed his condolences for the victims of the double earthquake, “wishing us our speedy recovery as a nation.”

In addition, Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah “took the opportunity to congratulate Venezuela on the 215th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, which is commemorated on July 5.”
