Venezuelan Government awarded the Cuban Rescue and Rescue Brigade

A contingent of rescue specialists, surgical doctors, forensic experts and engineers received the Heroes of the Fatherland award

The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, awarded the Rescue and Rescue Brigade of the Republic of Cuba, for its technical, medical and humanitarian support work in the state of La Guaira.

In this regard, a contingent composed of rescue specialists, surgical doctors, forensic experts and structural engineers of the Henry Reeve International Contingent, received the Heroes of the Fatherland award, as part of the gratitude of the Venezuelan People and Government.

Rodríguez was accompanied by Foreign Minister Félix Plasencia and the Cuban ambassador to Venezuela, Jorge Luis Mayo Fernández.

“The Cuban brigade concludes its institutional mission after carrying out rescue work, surgical interventions and the inspection of infrastructure in Venezuelan territory,” the Presidential press reported.
