Venezuelan under-19 volleyball team qualified for the 2027 World Championship

The national team was decisive from the first ball and made a clear difference in the first set. The 25-14 reflected the superiority in attack and allowed us to take a 1-0 advantage. Benjamín García and Diego Rondón took the offensive role, with decisive points to open a gap that Chile could not close.

In the second episode, the greatest Chilean resistance came. Venezuela had to play every point until the close, but it responded at the decisive moments to win 26-24 and be one set away from the medal.

Jonás Flores and Calles stood out on the net, with key interventions that allowed them to hold the advantage in the final exchanges and place the score 2-0.

The third chapter ended 25-16, a result that sealed 3-0, the bronze medal and the World Cup ticket.

Brazil won the title by defeating Argentina 3-0 (25-23, 26-24 and 25-22) and both teams, along with Venezuela, won all three tickets in play for next year's World Cup.
