With the objective of protecting the rights of women in the state of Aragua, the entity's legislative council and the state's security agencies announced the activation of itinerant Violet Points in the eighteen municipalities, consolidating a shield of comprehensive protection and permanent territorial activism.

This articulated deployment integrates national and regional bodies such as the Legislative Council of the State of Aragua (CLEBA), the Sectorial Secretariat for Women's Affairs and Gender Equality, the Office of the Ombudsman, the Public Ministry, the Secretariat of Citizen Security and the municipal institutes for women, among others, according to a press release.

During the announcement, Katiana Hernández, president of CLEBA, stressed that this project is part of the guidelines of the National Technical Board. He explained that starting next Monday, the so-called Violet Points will take to the streets as living spaces for listening, receiving complaints and legal guidance, becoming beacons of hope for women in Aragüeña.

In the same context, Hernández explained that the plan includes days of pedagogical activism in schools, communes and university campuses, as well as keynote lectures focused on eradicating trafficking in persons, training bodies receiving complaints and making visible the Congress of Judges and Prosecutors.

In addition, the legislator from Aragüeña commented that the agenda includes cultural and sporting events such as the Violet Cup, under the emblematic motto Peace begins at home.
