“North American imperialism is a threat to the world, that's why it has to end,” said the Supreme Commander, Hugo Chavez Frías, from Córdoba, Argentina.

“The North American empire threatens the world but that empire has to end, it's not the world that has to end, it's the empire that has to end and for the North American empire to end, that depends and will depend on many things, on many circumstances, conditions, one of them on ourselves, one of them depends on ourselves or many of them depends on ourselves (...) It is not at all useful to estimate the strength of the empire, even though we should not underestimate it, but the North American empire will face greater and greater difficulties every day to fulfill its commitment to dominate this planet, they will not be able to dominate this planet, they will not be able to dominate our Peoples,” he said on July 21, 2006.
