AN notified the Judiciary of the start of the 2024 legislative period

This Monday, a committee of parliamentarians chaired by Deputy Julio García Zerpa notified the Judiciary's board of directors of the start of the regular session of the National Assembly (AN), corresponding to the year 2024.

On instructions from the president of the Legislative Branch, Jorge Rodríguez, the deputies met at the headquarters of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), where they were received by the president of the Judiciary, Judge Gladys Gutiérrez and other judicial representatives, according to a press release published on the AN website.

The committee was composed of the parliamentarians, Rodbexa Poleo, María Gabriela Vega, Rosa León and the opposition deputies, Rubén Limas, Óscar Ronderos, José Brito and Carolina García.

The deputies expressed their willingness to successfully begin the new start of sessions and committed themselves to working together with the Judiciary to promote national development for the benefit of the People's Power.

They also explained that they will continue their management in the service of the interests of the nation and will comply with the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (CRBV) and other laws in force throughout the country.
